Conceptual and Design/Build

Evans Fire Protection’s philosophy regarding the design of a fire sprinkler system is direct: Design it smart and design it right. We find the most efficient, cost effective ways to protect buildings while maintaining the integrity of code requirements and pass any cost savings on to the owner/contractor.

Installation Design:

Our design staff is thoroughly educated in all NFPA related codes as well as local ordinances that affect fire sprinkler design. We utilize only the most advanced design technology including AUTOCAD and Hydracad sprinkler design and hydaulics software. The creation of detailed, accurate shop drawings assures timely Authority approvals so fabrication and installation are not delayed.

Installation:

Our installation personnel are trained specialists and are equipped with both the necessary knowledge and tools to build the highest quality sprinkler systems. To maximize efficiency, each crew is in constant touch with our control center via state-of-the -art communication equipment. EFP has established a continuing education program stressing on-the-job safety while participating in a Drug Free Workplace Program which requires pre-employment, as well as random drug testing.

Inspection, Testing and Maintenance:

At Evans Fire Protection, we pride ourselves in the level of security our customers can expect once we have installed a fire protection system in their facility.  The systems we provide are designed and installed according to the National Fire Protection Codes in NFPA 13.

However, once the systems are turned over to owners and building managers, ongoing inspection and maintenance is vital to assure that all components continue to function as they are intended, and that nothing outside of our system has influenced the operational integrity of the fire protection system, such as changes in water pressure or changes in building utilization.

Evans  Fire works closely with our customers to conduct quarterly, semi-annual and annual inspections to ensure that maximal safety is ongoing.  Our inspection schedule is computerized, and customers are notified when their inspections are due.  One of our highly qualified inspectors will conduct the inspection and immediately discuss all findings and recommendations with the building manager or owner.  Customers have immediate access to one of our inspectors at all times.
